These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://karenit.net (the "Website") and all services provided by Karen IT Group ("Karen IT", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Eligibility

3. User Obligations and Conduct

  • 3.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of any account credentials provided to you (including accounts created for KTSC, KITWatch, or other services).
  • 3.2. You must ensure that all information you submit to us (including through forms such as "Report a Cyber Issue") is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
  • 3.3. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.
  • 3.4. You must respect the confidentiality and sensitivity of any threat intelligence, reports, or data shared with you through our platforms.

4. Traffic Light Protocol (TLP) Compliance (where applicable)

4.1. All shared information must adhere to the Traffic Light Protocol (TLP) classification.

4.2. TLP Classifications:

  • TLP:RED – For the personal use of the recipient only; no further dissemination allowed.
  • TLP:AMBER – Restricted to the recipient’s organization and only those who need to know to protect their organization.
  • TLP:GREEN – Limited to the community; may be shared with peers within the community.
  • TLP:CLEAR (or WHITE) – Can be distributed freely without restriction.

4.3. If no TLP marking is applied, the default classification is TLP:AMBER.

4.4. Users must strictly comply with the dissemination rules of each TLP level.

5. Data Handling and Security

  • 5.1. You must take reasonable measures to protect any sensitive information received through our Services.
  • 5.2. Any suspected security breach, unauthorized access, or data leak related to our Services must be reported immediately to us at [email protected].
  • 5.3. We reserve the right to monitor usage of our platforms to ensure compliance and security.

6. Intellectual Property

All platforms, tools, reports, threat data, and materials provided by Karen IT remain the exclusive property of Karen IT or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services and any deliverables solely for your internal legitimate purposes during the term of engagement.

7. Fees and Payment

Payment terms for paid Services will be specified in separate proposals, contracts, or invoices. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karen IT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. No Warranty

The Services and Website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all threats will be detected or removed.

10. Violation of Terms

Any violation of these Terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Services, with or without notice. Serious violations may also lead to legal action.

11. Modification of Terms

Karen IT reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Abu Dhabi.
